In case you have been living under a rock, Khloe Kardashian has a new boyfriend Tristan Thompson. In a clip from the upcoming Keeping Up With The Kardashians 10th Anniversary special, Khloe reveals that she first met her beau on a blind date. Khloe even surprises sister Kim who never asked how the pair first met. Khloe explains, “Brandon Jennings, who’s a basketball player, he’s a friend of mine and Malika Haqq’s, and he was like, ‘You’re such a good girl, I want to introduce you to someone.'”
She continues, “I was at the Bel-Air hotel. [Tristan] came to the dinner because I didn’t want to go on a blind date, so Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. So, I had a bunch of people and he brought him and we just connected.”
Now, after almost a year of dating, Khloe admits her relationship with the 6’9″ Cleveland Cavaliers baller is quite “serious”. Kourtney rates the couple’s seriousness a 5 out of 6! Who rates things out of 6? Anyway… Aren’t they entertaining?
So, should fans expect to see more of Khloe and Tristan together on the show? Khloe says, “If he’s around, of course he’ll be on.”
Khloe was previously married to Lamar Odom and they broke up after some serious relationship obstacles, with an official divorce only finalised in spring of 2016. During 10 year Kardashian anniversary special, the family also addressed the time they were falsely told Lamar had passed away in October of 2015.
Kendall Jenner opened up about the ordeal and explains how she received a text from Kim whilst she was in London. “It had said Lamar passed away” Kendall says. “And I immediately started sobbing on the plane. Then I got the next text came through, saying, ‘Actually he’s okay, he’s alive but he’s not doing well.’ So that’s why I was so upset, because I wanted to be there to be able to say goodbye.”
But the miscommunication was not Kim’s fault as “Someone made a fake account and emailed me with the wrong information” she says. “I was screaming” shares Khloé, adding, “To think and to go through the motions as if someone has passed away is the most traumatic thing to do and then to know they’re really alive, it was too many emotions, I think, for any of us to handle.”
But it’s not all heavy hearted as the Kardashian-Jenner family celebrated their anniversary in the most adorable way, by recreating the first opening titles. You see the cast take a break away from their busy socialite lives to regroup and take a family photo. Unfortunately Rob Kardashian and Bruce (now Caitlyn Jenner) do not appear in the recreation, but it is still amazing. Kylie drops the backdrop to reveal their home just like her younger self does in the original titles.
