Pop girl band Little Mix performed as a trio during Saturday’s performance at the iHeart Festival in Las Vegas since Perrie Edwards, 24, was forced to pull out of their performance and was hospitalised due to a “gastric problem”.
A spokesman for the band says: “Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem. She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform.”
Let’s hope it’s nothing serious, but the other members of the band, Jade Thirwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson took to the stage and will hold the fort until Perrie is well enough to rejoin them.

The news of this health scare comes just after Perrie insisted her relationship with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will work, despite rumors his move to Liverpool has strained it. The pair have been smitten ever since coupling up last November, but with Alex swapping London for Merseyside things appeared to be going through a turn for the worse.
However, Perrie is willing to make things work, stating: “I don’t think it will be difficult. It’s going to be different – but that’s not a problem.” She adds: “We’ll be fine. I’m just really happy for him and very proud.” Earlier this month, friends have expressed their fears for the couple as they were going through a rocky patch after Alex decided to leave Arsenal football club for Liverpool. Friends of the couple told The Sun Online how the pair had rowed over Alex’s decision to move.
A source told The Sun Online: “Perrie and Alex disagreed about which club he should move too. Perrie really wanted him to choose Chelsea as it’s closer to her home. Plus when she’s travelling with Little Mix, they often fly into and from London, which means she would be able to spend time with him, even if not for long. Alex had his heart set on Liverpool though. Of course she supports his decision but it’s not been easy.”
Can they make a long distance relationship work? Only time will tell. In the mean time, we hope Perrie feels better soon and his back out on stage with a killer performance. We wonder if it could have been appendix related? Who knows?
But like pro’s, the remaining members of the power girl group carried on, by giving it their all in the Las Vegas show.
The show must go on, right? So, watch them perform hit single ‘Touch’ as a trio at the iHeartRadio Music festival down below, sans Perrie Edwards.
