Another day, another new game, but this time it’s not just any game, and it’s certainly not a new one either, so to speak. It does however come with a whole bunch of the extra goodies, and then some. Yes, today sees the release of the highly anticipated and highly praised Fallout 4 Game of The Year Edition (GOTY). If you hadn’t already played Fallout 4 to death by now, now would be the time to get this and start to. The GOTY Edition of the award winning game comes with all the DLC’s (downloadable content) currently available already built in. No extra condiments required!
This edition of the game sees the 2015 game re-released with enhanced graphics, access to tons of mods, a challenging survival mode, and with all the latest gameplay updates from Bethesda Studios, who shamelessly (and rightfully) are simply re-marketing the game out there in a better package than the 2015 version with a savvy new title. There’s practically endless open world gameplay to keep you entertained, considering all the modifications you can use to spice up gameplay, not to mention the 6 DLC’s within the GOTY package to keep you exploring and creating.
Let’s find out more about this with some help from IGN news, shall we?
The game is more epic than ever before, and the marketing does have a nice sound to it, doesn’t it? Fallout 4 won Game of The Year at the D.I.C.E Awards in 2015, and if this is the first time you’ve ever laid your eyes on the game, it is undeniable that this is a real mammoth of an action RPG game. In this deluxe package, you get the full main game along with Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and the Automatron DLC all inside. Get it on Xbox One here, straight to your door!
If you still have no idea what Fallout 4 is and how it works, think of it sort of being like GTA 5, except you’re embroiled in a post-apocalyptic wasteland known as The Commonwealth in the year 2077 after a nuclear war between the USA and China broke out. Does this sound like current news? Well no, it doesn’t really, but anyway, in the game you get to run around what remains of Boston, Massachusetts and New England, which is great for those of you who enjoy a good bit of exploring.
Using the game’s various modes, the game is very customisable, which is handy if you want to create your own imaginative story within the game. No need to stick to the script that the game gives you, and believe us, you’ll get much more fun out of making your own stories up as you roll along. See for yourself down below!
Pretty exciting stuff! The options are almost endless. So, for all you gamers out there looking for a new game this week that has nothing to do with sports, then consider going with Fallout 4 Game of The Year Edition. We have no doubt you’ll be entertained well into next month, or even deep into next year.
Brainstain, over and out!
