South Park: The Fractured But Whole Released on PC, PS4 & Xbox One

Well well, what do we have here? Yet more entertainment news for you, and this is big news if you’re a South Park fan. This week, the highly anticipated video game (and sequel to the previous game) based on the television series, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, has finally been released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Doesn’t that just sound fantastic?

Made by Ubisoft, it promises loads of laughs, inappropriate humour, and lots of action. We feel that the best way to get an idea about a new game is to watch the trailer, so without further ado, let’s check out what this game has in store, shall we?

Pretty exciting stuff, right? This sequel has certainly taken some steps forward and changed up some of the more broken aspects from the first game in the series, primarily those found in the combat system. You won’t be cheesing through fights using 5-stacked bleeding effects this time, I’m afraid. You’re going to need to get to grips with grid based combat, and learn how to properly strategize your moves and powers, along with your allies’ own moves and powers as well in order to beat back your foes.

So, what’s the story all about this time, you may ask? After the Stick of Truth was flung into Stark’s Pond at the end of the previous game, where else could the story go next other than to switch things up and modernise their game by becoming their super hero persona’s? That’s right, South Park fans, you’ll be taking it to the streets to fight crime alongside the likes of Toolshed and Call Girl in this super hero centred plot. You create your own character based on you, (or whoever you want to based it on), as well as your own superhero persona, then jump right on into the town of South Park to go crazy and do as you please. With so many jokes and references to past episodes within, you’ll no doubt be immersed and entertained for hours.

Sounds great so far, right? But what good is talking about it, when we have some gameplay footage to show you guys exactly what we’re talking about. We definitely need to get a better look at the gameplay, and who better to show it off than everybody’s favourite online YouTube gamer, PewDiePie? This game has been a long time coming, what with the delays and all, so it’s about damn time that this game came out for us all to enjoy.

Infinite possibilities for you to play with right there from what we can see. If you’re a fan of South Park, and you’ve played the previous game all the way through to the end, this is a must have game for you. As an added bonus, the game comes pre-packaged with South Park: The Stick of Truth, so even if you haven’t played the first game in the series, now you can for no additional charge! Tons of online reviews already hailing it as a brilliant game, so what are you waiting for? Go buy your copy of South Park: The Fractured But Whole and have it shipped straight to your door! If you already got it, we hope you’re ready for a fun-filled weekend, mkay?

Brainstain, over and out!
