Vigilante Who Violently Attacked Pedophiles To Be Charged

In Anchorage, Alaska, a true story comes out reminiscent of a largely debated to be fake story out of Nebraska, a few weeks ago, where it was claimed that a serial killer, named Joel Miller, 42, was imprisoned after killing 30 pedophiles over a 15 year killing spree. Some people wondered if it was true or too good to be true… But, here comes this new verified tale of John Vukovich, also 42, who took it upon himself after being abused as a child by his step father, in what can only be seen as a form of vigilante justice, by attacking three registered child sex offenders over a five day period.

John Vukovich is now facing 25 years in prison after tracking down and assaulting the three pedophiles in Alaska in June 2016. He showed up at the house of Welmey Demarest and presented himself as the “avenging angel” before attacking him with a hammer and leaving him with a serious brain injury that causes him to have an speech impediment.

In November, John Vukovich wrote a five page letter from prison to the Anchorage Daily News, saying that he now regrets his actions, and for others not to follow his example, stating, “There is no place for vigilante justice in an ordered society”.

Vukovich wrote, “If you have already lost your youth, like me, due to a child abuser, please do not throw away your present and your future by committing acts of violence”. Before calling himself a “flawed and imperfect individual”.

As apart of plea deal, prosecutors have shown some clemency in his case by dropping twelve charges, even though he is set to be sentenced today for the charges of pleading guilty to first-degree attempted assault and a consolidated count of first-degree robbery, which could land him 25 years in prison.

However, the sentencing is likely to be delayed, allowing his defence attorney more time to prepare and fight the lesser charges.

John Vukovich’s attacks on Welmey Demarest, 68, Charles Leamon Albee, 69, Andres E Barbosa, 26, took place between the dates of June 25th and June 29th, 2016. John would break into their homes, where the pedophiles were then beaten with his fists or with a hammer, then robbed, after which Vukovich fled the scene.

John Vukovich was arrested after his last attack on Demarest, and was found with a notebook with yet more names of registered pedophiles that were next to be attacked by the vigilante.

Demarest said that the attack cost him his job and that he would feel happier if Vukovich, was not “walking around while I’m alive”.

Vukovich said that he didn’t intend to hurt Demarest so badly, and now says that he regrets his actions. Vukovich was just released from jail on June 24th, 2016, for charges of possessing a controlled substance and assault. On the morning of June 25th at 9:30am, Vukovich knocked on Charles Leamon Albee’s door, before pushing him onto the ground and ordering him to sit down on the bed, after which he started slapping him in his face repeatedly. Then he stole several items of property, before leaving the man terrorised.

Two days later, John Vukovich arrived at Andres E Barbosa’s home at around 4:00am along with two other women, and threatened him with a hammer after confirming his name was Barbosa. He punched him in the face several times before threatening to “bash his dome in” with a hammer, proclaiming he was there to “collect what Barbosa owed”.

One of the women filmed the attack one a cell phone, before Vukovich robbed Barbosa of his truck and other possessions.

On the final attack on June 29th, John broke into the home of Welmey Demarest which he shares with another man, and ordered him to get on his knees. When he refused, Vukovich hit him in the head with a hammer, before declaring to Demarest, “I’m an avenging angel, I’m going to met out justice for the people you hurt.”.

Vukovich then stole Demarest’s laptop among other possessions before fleeing his home. When Demarest regained consciousness he called the Police, who found Vukovich sitting in a Honda Civic with the stolen possessions not far away from the crime scene.

Vukovich, now awaiting sentencing, told from prison that he was sexually abused as a child by his adopted father, and beat with sticks and whip. John wrote: “After being physically and mentally abused by a predator, my life was forever changed.”

“I literally gave my own existence no value or concern. I became a thief and a liar and went on to make many poor choices throughout my life.”

Is John Vukovich just a heartless robber, or was he carrying out a form of vigilante justice onto these registered pedophiles?

This story sure makes us think. If he hadn’t robbed his victims or used a hammer, perhaps this case would be entirely different, although vigilante justice is not recommended or ever encouraged. What now remains to be seen is what sort of a sentence John Vukovich will receive, and when?

While this vigilante criminal story now out in the open, we sure do expect a whole lot of more police enforcement justice of charging unconvincted pedophiles, as well as those associated with pedophilia being further exposed in 2018. Yes, even the higher/elite circles, such as with PizzaGate.
