In case you missed it, on Sunday, CBS News’ ’60 Minutes’ ran a segment of recent interviews from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students of only anti-gun rhetoric and gun control advocates including Emma Gonzalez, in order to follow up on the students since the Parkland school massacre, which happened a month and one week ago at the time.
Seemingly, it didn’t feature the non-student, David Hogg, 22, whose sole aspiration had always been to be somebody like Anderson Cooper and work for CNN. Now questions arise over Emma Gonzalez’ position, leading her into the limelight amidst this seemingly orchestrated deep state push for students to call for a ban on guns. Emma Gonzalez and the highly ridiculed David Hogg carried the mainstream media brainwashing torch on the issue for many weeks prior.
During one segment on ’60Minutes’, Sharyn Alfonsi asked Emma Gonzalez if she had ever thought about not wanting to get involved in the gun debate after the massacre, questioning her, “Did you ever think, I don’t want to get into this, this is a nasty fight that I don’t want to be in the middle of?”
“I have no choice because there were CNN cameras there and my speech was broadcast all over the country in like 4 seconds and I had no idea they were going to be there.”
Perhaps, Emma Gonzalez wasn’t aware what would happen next, since CNN only wanted to push their narrative in one way, as can be evidenced by not using students that were pro-gun, such a Kyle Kashuv and a multitude of other students like Colton Haab, who were not even included in the CNN Parkland Town Hall special after the massacre, since it was all scripted.
Additionally, CNN barely covered the recent Maryland school shooting where an officer shot and killed that shooter with his own firearm, preventing any further deaths. Doesn’t that seem strange to you?
We all know by now, CNN typically uses only one biased singular narrative to fit their deep state agenda, so maybe Emma Gonzalez wasn’t fully aware of what she was getting herself into before it was too late. We doubt that CNN cares for the future well being of such students, given the media frenzy which followed.
However, on the 60 Minutes segment on Sunday, Emma Gonzalez wasn’t afraid to speak her mind on the issue of teachers being armed in schools, and if willing to do so would be provided with a financial bonus as a solution to further school shootings. Emma said that the idea was “stupid“, and she was still opposed to anything that features a gun for protection, even when in the right hands.
“First of all, Douglas ran out of paper for, like, two weeks in the school year, and now all a sudden they have $400 million to pay for teachers to get trained to arm themselves? Really? Really?”
“If you’re a teacher and you have a gun, do you keep it in a lockbox or do you carry it on your person? If the teacher dies and a student who’s a good student is able to get the gun are they now held responsible to shoot the student who’s come into the door? I’m not happy with that.”
Emma Gonzalez is clearly not happy with the proposition of teachers being armed with guns. One now really wonders what solutions she has apart from the banning of guns, since that’s not going to happen for the overall safety of everyone in the United States of America. We’ll wait on any future ideas from Emma Gonzalez to solve the problems of school shootings. Instead of not being happy, why don’t you find a smart solution for students across the nation then?
Gonzalez’ claim that $400 million is going towards training and arming school teachers is inaccurate, and should have been corrected by Sharyn Alfonsi, since in reality, only $67 million will be implemented out of the $400 million to train school staff to be armed, where as the rest of the money will be given to improving mental health and school security.
The rest of the ’60 Minute’ CBS News segment features Emma’s mother, who naturally felt devastated to have her daughter thrown into the limelight and media frenzy after the Parkland massacre in such a way, because it sparked a vast difference of opinion across the whole country, resulting in David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez being called out as crisis actors.
The latter, her own daughter, is just a student, unlike David Hogg, and one wonders how this whole ordeal may come to have a immediate negative effect on Emma Gonzalez now, and in the near future, after being thrust into the limelight, but then also to try and push her CNN activist opinion onto the masses in such a way, which has now made her into a heavily polarised character in the image of the whole country.
Luckily however, there is no ban on guns on the horizon, as all the evidence shows that “gun free zone” signs and cities with the strictest gun laws also harbour the highest murder rates across the United States of America by guns.
So, what’s next for Emma Gonzalez? Only time will tell… but one thing is clear, which is that she hasn’t been seen on CNN lately, after their Parkland narrative abruptly ended and backfired due to the National Rifle Associations’ membership sky rocketing by more than a half a million new gun advocates since the student push for a ban of guns commenced.
Emma Gonzalez remains a polarised and heavily disliked kid in America right now, along with David Hogg.
