Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Trailer Released; Arrives September 2018

We can hardly believe it ourselves, but it’s true! ‘Spyro: Reignited Trilogy’ will be coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One systems on September 21st 2018. It will feature all three of the original PS1 games, Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage! and Year of the Dragon, but they will be thoroughly remastered with pristine rendering and graphics over 100 times superior to its first emergence on Playstation One, twenty years ago.

Fans of the game series are naturally very excited as this promises all the fun of the age old classics, but with entirely superior graphics and slicker gameplay, promising hours upon hours of adventure as you control Spyro on his quest to free other dragons, collect treasure, and save the dragon eggs. Let’s take a look at yesterday’s reveal trailer, shall we?

That does look much superior than the original. No doubt about it, it’s most definitely a must have game for lovers of a fun-filled 3D platform adventure, in the vein of Crash Bandicoot or Super Mario, but the emphasis here is on the dragon Spyro, and with his ability to fly and breath fire, which after all is what dragons do!

The game is being developed by Skylanders developers, Toys for Boys, and will arrive on Playstation 4, Playstation Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X right in time for the fall. In order to get a better understanding about what’s coming, so let’s catch some vital details from IGN.

Furthermore, apart from the fast paced slick controls of Spyro on his colourful adventure, which will have you hooked in from the get-go, let’s get a sense of just why the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy is such a big deal, yet again from the people at IGN.

So, there you have it! There’s a bit of a wait until the Spyro Reignited Trilogy arrives, but if you hit the pre-order button below from Amazon, it shall be on your doorstep on September 21st, 2018.
